Experience La dolce vita

No trip to Italy is complete without a visit  to the “eternal city”.

Rome is synonymous with the good life.

It is a city of delights, best discovered neighborhood by neighborhood.  Spend  three- four  nights in this enchanting and historic city.  Start at the Trevi fountain, then cross the Tiber to explore the bohemian quarter of the Trastevere.  Return to the Campo dei Fiore, where restaurants move their tables outdoors to catch the summer breeze.

Explore the ancient ruins of the Forum, Coloseum and Palantine Hill.

Spend your day immersed in the wonders of Vatican City.

The Romance of Venice

In Venice everything floats. Not only the gondolas, launches, barges and vaporettos on the Grand Canal, but also the buildings and the people float. One floats luxuriously with such a sense of freedom, never tormented by traffic or even disturbed by the sound of a horn. It is this "floatingness" which is the essential quality of Venice The most romantic of all cities  Incredible Gothic artwork and magnificent Renaissance architecture   Wonderful shopping for glass and lace.  A minimum 3 nights here to enjoy  the city.

Explore the spendors of Southern Italy

Rustic Italian Hospitality, striking natural beauty

Southern Italy is a magnificent crossroads of natural beauty, ancient history, and chic seaside villages.  Capri and the Amalfi Coast are a favorite, and their fabled beauty is not exaggerated.  Pompeii still startles with its frescoes and perfectly preserved daily Roman life, while Naples is the energetic hub for all of southern Italy.

Set aside 4-5 days for a visit to this destination.

Other towns and villages to put on your “must see” list:

Cinque Terre

The stupendous folded coastline of the Cinque Terre ("Five Lands") stretches between the pleasant beach resort of Lonto and the major port of La Spezia. The area is named for five tiny villages (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore) wedged into a series of coves between sheer cliffs; their comparative remoteness, and the dramatic nature of their position on a stunning coastline, make them the principal scenic highlight of the whole Riviera.

Lucca

The fortified city of Lucca is set amongst wine and olive groves in the green hills of Tuscany. It has been beautifully preserved and boasts tall houses and palazzos laid out on a Roman grid, handsome fortifications, pretty squares and Romanesque churches.

Verona

Verona, is the town immortalized by William Shakespeare in "Romeo and Juliet".   Verona boasts Casa di Guilietta, Juliet’s house, where one can look upon the balcony or look down upon what Juliet herself might have seen.

Como

With its breathtaking view, Como is a jewel-like oasis of tranquillity, a magical combination of lush Mediterranean foliage and snowy alpine peaks.

Milan

Milan is among the most progressive Italian cities. Yet Milan also offers the Duomo, the mightiest Gothic building ever created, with a capacity of 40,000! Milan is also home to the glass-topped Galleria - the world’s first shopping mall, the famed La Scala Opera House and da Vinci’s restored "Last Supper" fresco

Orvieto

This charming medieval hilltown is perched on a high plateau, overlooking a breathtaking valley. It offers some extraordinary examples of Romanesque Gothic art, including one of Italy?s greatest cathedrals with its stunning, sumptuous facade. It is called the "Golden Lily of Cathedrals"

Rapallo

Rapallo, a resort on the Italian Riviera, is a retreat for the chic and well-to-do, and for good reason! It boasts among the most spectacular Riviera scenery. Rapallo enjoys a remarkable site overlooking the Gulf of Tigullio
